Presidential Decree No. 148/19 amending Presidential Decree No. 5/14 on the Statute of the Forestry Development Institution.

This Presidential Decree amends Presidential Decree No. 5/14 approving the Statute of the Forestry Development Institution. Amendments deal with structure and composition of the above mentioned institution. In addition, it establishes the following matters: Forestry Products Warehouses are executive services created to receive, monitor, inspect and register the forestry products of semi-processing units, destined to internal and external commercialization. Forestry Products Warehouses are managed by Chiefs of Department, appointed by Order of the Head of the Ministerial Department for the Agriculture and Forestry Sector, which is responsible for: a) Ensuring the normal operation of the Warehouse; b) Ensuring compliance with the forestry legislation and other applicable legislation; c) Providing periodic information to the General Directorate of the Forestry Development Institute (IDF); d) Ensuring compliance with this Regulation; e) Controlling the personnel of the IDF in service in the Warehouse, etc.
