Presidential Decree No. 160/21 approving the Statute of the Office for the administration of Cunene, Cubango and Cuvelai river basins (GABHIC).

This Presidential Decree approves the Statute of the Office for the administration of the Cunene, Cubango and Cuvelai River Basins (GABHIC). The Statute, consisting of 29 articles divided into five Chapters and three Annexes, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Office, entitled to ensuring the integrated management of these River Basins, including the transboundary component under the SADC Revised Protocol on Shared Watercourses. In addition, it transfers to said Office all the assets belonging to the Cunene Plan Office located in national territory and abroad, as well as all the resulting technical documentation and assets of the actions developed by it, including studies and projects already collected by other organizations on the hydrographic basins of the Cunene, Cubango and Cuvelai Rivers.
