Presidential Order No. 270/22 creating the Multisectoral Committee for the supervision of the National Plan for the Promotion of Fisheries, coordinated by the State Ministry for Economic Coordination.

This Presidential Order creates the Multisectoral Committee for the supervision of the National Plan for the Promotion of Fisheries, coordinated by the State Ministry for Economic Coordination, and sub-delegates powers to the Coordinator of the said Committee to approve its Regulations. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Committee entitled to perform the following activities: a) Approve the instruments and working documents relating to the action strategy of PLANAPESCAS; b) Define the priorities and guidelines for action by the Technical Monitoring Unit of PLANAPESCAS; c) Periodically evaluate actions included in PLANAPESCAS; d) Promoting the conditions for consultation between the Bodies of the Central and Local Administration of the State and the economic agents in the implementation of measures and actions that contribute to the implementation of PLANAPESCAS; e) Propose measures for the design, elaboration, implementation and evaluation of policies and strategies to promote fish production; f) Approve balance sheet reports; g) Assess opinions, proposals and recommendations of the Technical Monitoring Unit — PLANAPESCAS; h) Approve the respective work schedule and budget.
