Abstract
This Resolution approves the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), which, mindful of the precautionary approach embodied in Principle 15 of the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, aims to protect human health and the environment from persistent organic pollutants, concluded in Stockholm (Sweden) on 22 May 2001.
