Abstract
The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the disposal of animal by-products and materials not intended for human consumption. This ordinance outlines the legal framework for the handling of animal by-products in five sections. It defines the scope, objectives, and key terms (Section 1), and sets rules for reporting, storage, collection, delivery, acceptance, and forwarding of such materials, including annual reporting (Section 2). It also governs the establishment, operation, and disease-related preparedness of municipal collection points (Section 3), and regulates associated fees and charges, including registration and inspection fees (Section 4). Final provisions include references to other laws and details on the regulation’s entry into force (Section 5). The text consists of 14 Articles.
