Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Council Directive 76/160/EEC concerning the quality of bathing water of 4 March 2006. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the monitoring and classification of bathing water quality, the management of bathing water quality and the information of the public on bathing water quality. The text consists of 19 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Sphere of application, definition of terms (I); Issue of authorizations, official control and general measures (II); Provisions on hygiene requirements (III); Penalties (IV); Transitional and final provisions (V).
