Abstract
The present Ordinance contains dispositions regulating the periodical examination of cattle for virusdiarrhea and mucosal disease. It contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed such as “stock”, “cattle free from disease”, “suspect cattle”, “basic test”, “control test”, “repeated tests”. Thereafter the text deals with the following aspects: sphere of application, general provisions, competent authorities, different examination methods, basic tests and further periodical tests relating to herd classification, examination of suspect cattle, control test, cattle officially certified as free from disease, suspect cattle, duty to notify suspect cases, official control of such cases, bringing into circulation of cattle, certification, duties of animal keepers, financial provisions. The text consists of 20 articles divided into 7 Chapters.
