BVD Ordinance 2007.

The present Ordinance implements the Animal Health Act (BGBl. No. 133/1999). The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the fight against and prevention of bovine virus diarrhea and mucosal disease (BVD/MD) in cattle. It applies to all bovine herds in Austria except for those who are esclusively used for slaughtering as far as these stock do not have cattle also used for breeding.
