Abstract
This Ordinance implements provision of Article 18 (1) of the Carinthian Animal Breeding Act 2020 that requires compliance with the EU reqgulations with respect to animal breeding, recognition of breeding associations or breeding companies, and performing testing and breeding value estimation. The text provides for annual report by the breeding associations/companies with regard to approved breeding programs and achieved results and requirements for insemination and embryo transfer. Article 11 of the text provides the list of the applicable EU Regulations. The Ordinance consists of 14 Articles divided into 5 Sections as follow: Introduction (1); Recognition of breeding associations and breeding companies and approval of breeding programs (2); Action by recognized breeding associations and breeding companies (3); Insemination, Embryo Transfer (4); and Final provisions (5).
