Lower Austria Landscape Charge Law 2007.

Article 1 of the above-mentioned Law establishes that for the care, maintenance and arrangement of landscape the Land shall levy a charge, called “landscape charge”. Article 3 decrees that the said charge has to be paid for the production of minerals. The text – consisting of 13 articles – deals with the following aspects: definition of terms, exemption, calculation, duty to register, duty to notify, competent authorities, penalties and final provisions.
