Lower Austria Plant Health Act (NÖ PGHG).

The Act defines responsibilities of different authorities for carrying out plant health measures within the framework of the official plant protection service along with implementation of relevant EU Regulations. Article 4 of the Act provides a list on the plant health measures such as notification in case of occurrence of pests, nominating responsible person for grant of notification, prohibition or restriction of the cultivation of certain types of plants, blocking the use of properties that are infested with plant pests, and destruction, decontamination or disinfestation of infested objects and the soil.
