Abstract
The present Ordinance is enacted under Natural Gas Management Act 2011. It emphasizes the importance of data collection and analysis to fulfill the regulatory objectives related to the natural gas industry. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to data survey in order to carry out control functions as listed in Article 131 of the afore-mentioned Act. The Ordinance specifies several key measures that must be undertaken by gas traders and suppliers. These include the reporting of monthly import prices, allocated imports, and domestic production costs, as well as the handling of consumer inquiries and complaints. The text consists of 20 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Surveys (2); Execution of surveys (3); Final provisions (4).
