Abstract
An Ordinance to regulate in detail procedures for public storage of skimmed milk powder. Article 3 sets out the conditions to obtain official recognition of storehouses. Skimmed milk powder produced in other EC countries must be certified as being salmonella free. The costs of transportation of skimmed milk powder to the storing places have to be born by the producer. "Agrarmarkt Austria" is responsible for the quality of the skimmed milk powder, especially as regards radioactivity. Entitled persons must allow access to their premises for inspection by competent authorities, i.e., the Agrarmarkt Austria, the Ministry for Agriculture and Forestry, and various bodies of the EC. The Ordinance consists of 13 articles and 1 Annex. The Annex lays down quality standards for skimmed milk powder. The above-mentioned AMA is entrusted with the enforcement of this Ordinance.
