Styria Animal Breeding Law.

The purpose of the present Law is to promote the breeding of animals in such a way that: a) their performance and the value of animal products are conserved and improved; b) animal products be of high quality; c) new breeding methods are to be applied promptly; d) the genetic variety is conserved. The text consists of 28 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); General conditions for the offering, trading and selling of animals (II); Breeding associations (III); Provisions on insemination procedures and methods (IV); Provisions on transfer of embryos (V); Implementation, exceptions, penalties and final provisions (VI).
