Biosecurity Regulation 2016.

This Regulation, consisting of 130 sections divided into ten Chapters and completed by eleven Schedules, made under the Biosecurity Act 2014, regulates several matters related to biosecurity, such as: Biosecurity obligations (including prohibited and restricted matter regulations); Codes of practice (including labelling of and contaminants in fertilisers); Feed for food producing animals; Ways for disposing restricted matter; Maximum acceptable level of contaminants in carriers; Diagnostic testing; Bees and apiaries; Non-native invasive ornamental fish; Matters relating to local governments; Prevention and control measures for biosecurity matter; Fire ant biosecurity zone regulatory provisions; Animal and Plant biosecurity zone regulatory provisions; National Livestock Identification System; Prohibited feed for pigs and poultry; Fees, etc.
Schedules specify the following issues: Biosecurity matter declared to be prohibited or restricted matter; Code of Practice for the Labelling of Fertilisers and for Contaminants in Fertilisers; Code of Practice for Feed for Food Producing Animals; Category 3 restricted matter; Non-native invasive ornamental fish; Schedule 6 Mediterranean fruit fly carriers; Pyriform scale carriers; Far northern pests; Grape phylloxera carriers; Fees; and Dictionary.
