Abstract
For the purpose of implementing the provisions of the Exotic Disease of Animals Act 1991, the Regulation states the responsibility of the Chief Veterinary Officer to undertake and assist in: (a) the diagnosis of disease in humans or animals; (b) the manufacture of vaccines; (c) some other veterinary, medical or scientific research or activity. Further provisions concern inter alia: (a) charges incurred in seizing certain animals and property; (b) claims for compensation; (c) service of orders and notices.
Schedule 1 specifies the information to be provided in the claims for compensation.
