Fisheries Management (Prawn Fisheries) Regulations 2017.

These Regulations, consisting of 14 sections and completed by two Schedules, implement the Fisheries Management Act 2007 by providing the management scheme for the Gulf St. Vincent Prawn Fishery, the Spencer Gulf Prawn Fishery and the West Coast Prawn Fishery. They regulate licences and related fees, provide for the registration of boats, for the allocation of quotas and for catch and disposal records. The maximum number of licences that may be in force in respect of the above mentioned fishery activities is the number of licences in force in respect of that fishery immediately before the commencement of this regulation.
