Abstract
These Regulations provide for the protection of State forests, national parks and protected public land from damage by fire. The Regulations contain general prohibitions concerning fires in the open air and in temporary structures; on campfire and barbeques; the use of engines and equipment in fire protected areas; and on sawmills and commercial operations.
Entry into force notes
These Regulations enter into force on 29 June 2004.
Notes
These Regulations were revoked on 28 June 2014 by regulation 4 of the Forests (Fire Protection) Regulations 2014, S.R. No. 52/2014.These Regulations repeal the Forests (Fire Protection) (Interim) Regulations 2004.
