Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 99 sections divided into eight Parts and completed by eight Schedules, implements the Marine Safety Act 1998 by providing specifications on the procedure for safety navigation, requirements relating to builders plates for certain recreational vessels, recreational vessels-safety equipment and facilities. This Regulation is divided as follows: Preliminary (1); Safety of Navigation (2); Special safety requirements for certain waters and vessels (2A); Requirements relating to builders plates for certain recreational vessels (3); Marine safety licences (4); Safety equipment and facilities (5); Public ferry wharves (5A); Alcohol and Drug Testing (6); Penalty notices (7); Miscellaneous (8).
