Abstract
This Act amends the Navigation Act 1912 and the Protection of the Sea (Prevention of Pollution from Ships) Act 1983 in relation to prevention of air pollution from ships. The Navigation Act 1912 is amended so as to provide for air pollution prevention certificates to be issued. The amendments of the Protection of the Sea (Prevention of Pollution from Ships) Act 1983 concern (control of) fuel oil quality requirements.
