National Parks and Wildlife Regulations.

Regulations in force under the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 1975.
The 77 regulations are divided into 6 Parts: Preliminary (1); Activities in parks and reserves (2); Wildife conservation (3); Conservation zones (4); Town plans (5); Miscellaneous (6).
Regulations of Part 2 declare various activities in parks to be an offence and specify fines for such offenses and grant the Director of National Parks and Wildlife certain powers with respect to management of parks and the conservation of wildlife including the prohibition of certain fishing (reg. 36). Under provisions of Part 3, the Minister may declare animals and plants other than specified in Schedule 1, 2, and 3 to be unprotected. Activities specified in regulation 49 require a licence for which an application shall be made in accordance with regulations 50 and 51. A licensee authorized to keep a protected animal shall keep a record in relation with each animal kept (reg. 56). Part 4 provides for the application of the Regulations to Conservation Zones.
