Abstract
These Regulations, consisting of 25 sections completed by nine Schedules, implement the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 by providing specifications on wildlife conservation, both flora and fauna. Issues regulated include the taking of native plants, the release of animals, record keeping, permits, the sale of animals and birds, importation and exportation of protected animals, cross breeding, conditions for emu farming permits and offences.
