Abstract
These Regulations implement provisions of the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Resources Act.
The Regulations provide for: powers of the Magistrate Court to determine compensation payable to owners and occupiers of private land; prescribed fees, rates and sums for the purposes of a provision of the Act specified in Schedule1; instruments necessary for applying for the approval of dealings; deductible imposts; and for the application of Geocentric Datum of Australia, of GDA to certain instruments and of Australian Geodetic Datum.
