Abstract
This Act concerns the exploration and exploitation of petroleum resources, and other mineral resources, of certain submerged lands adjacent to the coasts of Victoria. The Act contains provisions on its administration (Part 1), on mining for petroleum (Part 3), including exploration, retention and related permits and leases, production licenses, infrastructure licenses, pipeline licenses, fees and royalties. It also provides for the release of information (Part 3A), collection of information and its registration and use.
