Abstract
This Act, consisting of eight Sections, aims at establishing protecting measures to prevent, so as to minimise environmental pollution, the provision by retailers of certain plastic bags, and for related purposes. It establishes inspections, composition, and environmental standards of such plastic bags in order to comply with the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994, as they are to be read together as if the 2 Acts constituted a single Act.
