Abstract
This notice, done under the Stock Act 1915, aims at preventing the spread of cattle tick in Queensland. The notice declares certain areas of Queensland to be the infected area; or an eradication area; or a provisionally protected area; or a protected area; or the free area (sect. 4). The notice regulates activities in all types of areas. It makes the movement of stock conditional on inspection and treatment and subject to authorization. The notice also regulates time between treatments (sect. 51) and inspections. The notice is completed by one schedule that delimitates the cattle tick areas in Queensland.
