Abstract
This Act regulates the sale and use of certain timber, it consists of 54 sections and is divided into seven Parts. Part concerns the sale and use of lyctid-susceptible timber, Part 3 concerns the procedure for the approval of preservative treatment, Part 4 covers preservative treatments of timber and related authorizations and Part 5 regulates the moisture content of timber. Part 6 contains miscellaneous provisions, among others, on the powers of forest officers under the Act, offences and penalties and regulation making powers.
