Abstract
This Act makes amendments to specified Commonwealth legislation in consequence of the enactment of the Water Act, 2007, which makes provision with respect to the management and conservation of water resources of the Murray-Darling Basin. The National Water Commission Act 2004 is amended in paragraph 7(1)(f) by inserting after “function”, “conferred by another law of the Commonwealth or”.
