Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 232 sections divided into ten Parts and completed by nine Schedules, implements the Water Management Act 2000. The Regulation is divided as follows: Preliminary (Part 1); Access licences (Part 2); Approvals (Part 3); Irrigation corporations (Part 4); Elections (Part 5); Private drainage boards (Part 6); Private water trusts (Part 7); Public works (Part 8); Water supply authorities (Parts 9); Miscellaneous (10).
In particular, it deals with the following matters: Categories of access licence (2); Register of approvals, water supply works (3); Inclusion of land within irrigation corporation's area of operations (4); Enrolment (5); Administrative requirements (6); Members of a private water trust (7); Flood mitigation works--statement of particulars (8); Water supply authorities, Water supply, Plumbing fittings, plumbing work and plumbing permits, Pollution control (9), etc.
Entry into force notes
