Abstract
These Regulations implement the Wildlife Conservation Act 1950.
The Regulations, subject to section 15, prescribe the licences required under and for the purposes of the provisions of the Act, and the minimum and maximum fees payable for any licence.
The Regulations further provide for: royalties payable in respect of the skins of fauna taken in the State and the carcasses of such species of Kangaroos as prescribed; conditions under which fauna may be kept in captivity; the marking, sale and transport of fauna; illegal means and devices used to take any fauna; prohibited imports; licences for the use of flora; etc.
