Abstract
The present Law regulates relations connected with ensuring safety of waterworks in the process of their projecting, construction, running, re-construction, conservation and liquidation, and establishes the duties of state bodies, properties of waterworks and running organizations. Safety of waterworks is the particulars of waterworks that ensure protection of environment against disasters and emergencies that may originate from accident and damage thereof. The Law consists of 4 Secstions that contain 17 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-5) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 6-11) regards provisions ensuring safety of waterworks. Section 3 (arts. 12-14) regards state control of safety of waterworks. Section 4 (arts. 15-17) establishes liability for the infringement of the legislation on safety of waterworks and regards dispute settlement.
