Abstract
This Law states that the Republic of Azerbaijan hereby approves the CIS Agreement on Legal Protection of Plant Varieties. In order to ensure agricultural development, the participant countries agree upon improving economic and scientific-technical cooperation on seed growing, effective protection of plant varieties, development of high-yielding and high-quality crop varieties, testing and protection of selection achievements and countertrade of planting materials and seeds for agricultural crops. The text consists of 25 articles and is in its original Azerbaijani translation.
