Law No 808–1QD amending the Law on selection achievements.

Following the remarks and proposals of UPOV experts council the National Assembly has decided to make the following amendments: (a) to supplement Article 3 with the following wording “Known selection achievements should have correct description in official catalogue, information fund and one of publications.”; (b) to supplement Article 4 with the following wording “The objects of the selection achievements are sorts of plants, animal breeds, theirs hybrids, genotypes, lines crosses, clones, eggs, embryos and other plant materials and breed reserves.”; (c) article 16 shall be supplemented with the following wording “All juridical and fiscal persons had to get the right to use selection achievements: (a) production and reproduction; (b) to convey the semen sowing standard, with aim to increase; (c) to make the sale proposal; (d) to include into the purchase and commercial turnover; (e) to export from Azerbaijan; (f) to import into Azerbaijan republic; (g) to keep for purposes mentioned above.
