Law No. 957-IVQ on conservation of greenery.

This Law aims at conservation of greens (trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses and planting materials), green areas and the right of their usage. This Law states that state agencies, municipalities, natural and legal persons in the field of conservation of greens shall have equal rights on reduction, restoration, protection and enhancement of greens. The main principles of this Law are a) ensuring environmental sustainability in green areas, b) creating and enhancing healthy environment, c) ensuring public participation, d) providing international cooperation and e) ensuring state control in the field of conservation of greens. This Law sets provisions on management of conservation of greens, duties and rights of state agencies, municipalities, natural and legal persons, protection measures, inventory and monitoring of greens, green care interventions, pest management and state control.
