Ministerial Decree No. 10 on the approval of the Regulation on hunting farms.

This Regulation lays down rules on the duties, activities, development, placement, protection and utilization of hunting farms. The Cabinet of Ministers determines the procedure for breeding wild animals attributed to hunting objects by hunting farms and releasing them into hunting grounds in order to increase hunting resources of the country. For the purpose of organizing and managing hunting farms, the territories where wild animals live, migrate and reproduce are used as hunting grounds. This Regulation prohibits hunting activities in areas protected with the legal regime of special protection of national and natural parks. The duties of hunting farms include but not limited to: (i) informing the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Food Safety Agency in case of infection of wild animals with diseases, deterioration of their habitat, threat of extinction and death; (ii) implementing measures for the prevention and elimination of diseases; (iii) ensuring the compliance with the protection regime for rare and endangered species of wild animal species included in the Red Book of Azerbaijan.
