Ministerial Decree No. 10 on the approval of the Regulation on hunting in the territory of Azerbaijan.

This Regulation lays down rules on hunting permits, rights and duties of hunters, and hunting prohibitions and restrictions. The inclusion of wild animal species as hunting objects and hunting limits, as well as the limits for shooting individual predatory animal species shall be determined by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in order to protect the health and ensure the safety of the population, protect livestock and pet animals from diseases, and prevent damage to wild fauna, their habitat and the economy. Farms that breed wild animals classified as hunting objects and release them into hunting grounds may issue permits for hunting in accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. The number of catching and shooting of individual species of wild animals during the hunting season shall be determined by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. Hunting during the hunting season shall be allowed on days determined by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, depending on the epizootic situation in the territory.
