Ministerial Decree No. 117 on approval of the rules on creation of zoological collections and enrichment, storage, use, state registration and trade thereof.

This Decree sets out provisions on state registration, creation, enrichment, storage, use and trade of zoological collection, as well as import and export of animals. This Decree states that zoological collections may be in state, municipal and private properties. The zoological collection includes menagerie in zoo, zoological garden and oceanarium, furthermore samples, remains and by-products of animals. These rules shall be implemented in the territory of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea, for local and foreign real and legal persons. The registry form of zoological collection is attached to this Decree in appendix.
