Ministerial Decree No. 176 on approval of rules for implementation of state control over protection and management of wild fauna.

This Decree states that implementing state control over protection and management of wild fauna aims at ensuring compliance with the rules and requirements specified by Azerbaijani legislation and fulfilment of the tasks by real and legal persons in the field of wildlife protection. The state control shall be implemented by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in coordination with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and local authorities throughout the entire territory including the Caspian Sea share belonging to the Republic of Azerbaijan. This Decree sets forth provisions on duties and responsibilities of state control authorities.
