Ministerial Decree No. 198 approving the Regulation on recall, removal, disposal and destruction of food and feed products that do not comply with the requirements of the Law on Food Safety and/or food and feed products unfit for consumption and amending the Ministerial Decree No. 542 approving the Regulation on seizure, transportation, storage, neutralization or destruction of goods (products) from individuals and legal entities by inspection bodies.

Abstract
This Regulation applies to all food chain entities, regardless of the type of ownership, and covers the stages of primary production, production, processing, distribution, utilization and destruction of food and feed products. The recall or removal of food and feed products that do not comply with the requirements established by the Law on Food Safety, at the request of the Agency, is allowed only if the Agency proves the risk of danger of such products. The decision on the subsequent re-circulation, utilization or destruction of recalled or withdrawn food and feed products for their direct purpose is made by the Agency based on the examination (testing) of those food and feed products.
