Abstract
This Decree aims at a) protection and restoration of natural complexes or their components, b) maintenance of ecological balance, c) ensuring implementation of limitations for economic activities of the owners, users and tenants, and d) carrying out scientific, cultural, educational and economic activities. Prohibitions and limitations in state nature reserves are listed in this Decree as (i) conducting geological exploration and excavation work, (ii) drainage and melioration of wetlands, water and land, (iii) using plants for economic purposes, as well as using as hayfields and pastures, (iv) hunting and fishing of wild fauna species for economic purposes, (v) damaging environment by any chemical, biological and physical impact, (vi) sport activities, camping, erection of tents and lighting bonfires out of permitted areas, (vii) constructions, (viii) harvesting wild plants, and (ix) any activity harms the environmental quality of reserves and violates the conservation regime of protected objects. This Decree sets forth provisions on creation and features of special protection regime and state control over protection and use of state nature reserves.
