Abstract
This Decree states that Scientific and Technical Council shall be established, with the participation of National Academy of Science, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents. Furthermore, Institute of Genetic Resources shall be determined as the national coordinator. This Decree aims at protecting branded traditional plants, expanding cultivated areas in the regions of their origin, and protecting property rights and copyrights of branded traditional plants. This Decree shall take measures on expanding the cultivated areas in branded fauna habitats, and on preservation of branded plants and the expansion of arable lands.
