Ministerial Decree No. 259 on approval of rights and obligations of banks of genetic resources of cultivated plants.

This Decree states that Scientific and Technical Council shall be established, with the participation of National Academy of Science, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents. Furthermore, Institute of Genetic Resources shall be determined as the national coordinator. This Decree sets forth provisions on the establishment, rights and responsibilities of banks of genetic resources of cultivated plants, also rights and responsibilities of botanical garden and dendrological park and of the National Gene Bank.
