Abstract
This Ministerial Decree lays down procedures and principles for the decisions of the Food Safety Agency in the fields of veterinary control. The templates for the decisions are annexed to the Decree. Types of decisions are specified as (I) decision to suspend or prohibit the activities of legal entities and individuals when there is a threat of the outbreak and spread of dangerous and other infectious diseases, including zoonoses and diseases common to man and animals, (II) decision on removal, recycling, neutralization or destruction of sick animals, products of animal origin and raw materials which pose danger to health of the population, (III) decision to take legal measures to make legal persons or persons responsible for violations of veterinary legislation in accordance with the legislation, (IV) decision on storage of goods and implementation of veterinary control in accordance with the legislation until appropriate measures are taken in case of other violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements in the import, export and transit of goods under state veterinary control, and (V) decision on seizure and destruction of veterinary drugs, feeds and feed additives in case they are counterfeit, low-quality, of unknown origin, which are not registered in accordance with the legislation and do not meet the requirements of normative and technical documents.
