Ministerial Decree No. 5 approving rules on labelling of ecologically clean food and agricultural products.

This Decree shall set up rules on labelling with the purpose of differing ecologically clean food and agricultural products from other products, providing consumers with opportunities and providing detailed and accurate information about the environmental aspects for consumers. During transition period to ecologically clean agriculture, farms may be allowed to sell ecologically clean food and agricultural products labelled as “Eco-transition” by competent certification body. The transition period shall be determined according to the international standards. This Decree underlines that “not produced from genetically modified organisms and their derivatives” shall appear on the label of ecologically clean food and agricultural products.
