Ministerial Decree No. 69 on the approval of “types of use of water resources for special purposes”.

This Decree lays down the types of use of water resources for special purposes as follows: (I) utilization of water by taking or extracting water from water resources; (II) utilization of water resources without water withdrawal, such as using water resources during the extraction of minerals, geological exploration and drilling or for aquaculture; and (III) utilization of water resources for the discharge of wastewater in compliance with the established norms. The use of water bodies for special purposes is carried out on the basis of a permit by applying technical devices and equipment to meet the drinking water, household, medical, health and other needs of the population, as well as agriculture and forestry, industry, energy, transport, fishing and other state or public needs.
