Abstract
This Decree envisages measures for disposal, decontamination and waste treatment of domestic wastes, industrial wastes in cities and other settlements. This Decree states that the objects of waste treatment shall be residential areas, streets, social facilities, industrial areas, parks, squares and recreation places. The Decree sets forth provisions on a) storage and handling of domestic waste, b) solid waste collection, c) waste disposal, d) liquid waste, e) sanitisation of streets, f) waste treatment of beach, military area, parks, recreation places and prophylactic facilities, and g) registration of domestic waste. This Decree also states that the state control shall be carried out by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Health.
