Presidential Decree No. 402 amending the Presidential Decree No. 531 on approval of the statute of nature and biosphere reserves.

This Decree shall make several amendments in the Presidential Decree No. 531 on approval of the statute of nature and biosphere reserves. Paragraph 3 of Article 3 shall be changed as “In order to protect soil and water areas from anthropogenic impacts, sanitary-protection zones shall be identified in the state nature and biosphere reserves. The identification and protection mode shall be in accordance with Article 10.1 of the Law No. 840-IQ on protected areas.” Furthermore, “protected area” phrase shall be changed as “sanitary-protection zones” in articles 6.2.1 and 6.2.4. Article 6.2.2 shall be changed as, “Perpetrators who commit a crime, under the Criminal Code, in the territory of state nature and biosphere reserves, shall be brought to justice.”
