Abstract
By the Presidential Decree № 663 dated 19 June 2012, Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry of Italy was approved. The Parties shall encourage and facilitate cooperation among research institutes regarding integrated development of olive cultivation, animal breeding and genetic improvement of ovine and bovine animals. The Parties shall develop joint projects in the field of rural development. Furthermore the Parties shall exchange the experts, information, experience and best practices in order to promote the quality of agricultural and food products. The Parties agree upon incorporating relevant national associations, organizations and scientific institutions in public and private sector into cooperation to achieve a satisfactory level.
