Decision on the adoption of the Strategy for the control of bovine spongiform encephalopathy.

This Decision here adopts the Strategy for the control of bovine spongiform encephalopathy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as in accordance with the provisions of article 27 of the Veterinary Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in relation to the contents of the Regulation on the measures for the prevention, control and eradication of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (originally published in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina 25/2011).
Measures provided in this Strategy are also meant for obtaining the status of controlled area in terms of presence of certain animal disease, as defined by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) related criteria.
