Abstract
This Decision here determines the working method of the border veterinary inspection, in connection with the veterinary examinations to which are subjects live animals, products of animal origin and other goods in international traffic across the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This text adopts the provisions of the Commission Decision 2007/275/EC concerning lists of animals and products to be subject to controls at border inspection posts under Council Directives 91/496/EEC and 97/78/EC. The terms used in this Decision have the following meaning: a) composite/mixed product: food intended for human consumption that contains processed products of animal origin and products of plant origin and includes those where the production of the primary product is an integrated part of the production of the final product; b) meat products: processed products resulting from meat processing and further processing of these processed products, so that by cutting the surface it can be determined that the product no longer has the characteristics of fresh meat; and c) dairy products: processed products resulting from the processing of raw milk or further processing of these processed products. Animals, products and other goods listed in Annex I and II of this Decision are subject to the control of official border veterinary inspection (see article 3).
